How it works: Email your photo → We confirm a free design proof and firm price → You approve and pay → We print and dispatch. Standard orders typically take 3–5 working days for production before dispatch; tracked UK delivery included.

Your memories, glowing in 3D
Turn a favourite photograph, beloved pet, fantasy illustration or special moment into a custom lithophane globe. Our globes are designed to reveal the image when illuminated by a battery-powered LED light.
Designed by you. Checked and made by us.
- Send a photo. JPEG or PNG, preferably a sharp original photograph. Tell us which image and style you want.
- We review it. We check permissions, image quality, visibility on a curved globe, and print feasibility.
- Approve your design. We send you a design proof and a firm quote before requesting any payment.
- We make and ship it. After approval and payment, we 3D print, inspect and dispatch your globe. Display stands and LEDs are not included and are not currently available to order from us.
Choose your globe finish
Globe: a 100 mm custom photo lithophane in a suitable translucent printed colour. White is recommended for sharp photograph contrast. We will confirm the best colour and finish with your proof.
Stand and light: not currently included or available to purchase from us. Use a compatible cool-running battery LED separately. Decorative stand designs are still in physical prototype testing.
Photo submission
Free design enquiry — no obligation to purchase. Our secure Shopify photo-upload form will appear here when configured and tested. Until then, please email support@tinkerersfable.com with your image attached and put Photo Globe Enquiry in the subject. You can also browse our £29.99 personalised globe product, but please get your design approved before checkout.
Please include whether your image is a portrait, artwork, memorial, or other theme, and your preferred globe colour (white is usually recommended for photographs). Don't send highly sensitive photographs or imagery you don't have permission to use. Please do not send payment information with your image.
Before you order
Each design is manually checked. Some fine details may be simplified; colours are converted to light-and-shade for white lithophanes. We reserve the right to decline unsuitable images. We won't use your photographs publicly without separate permission.
Our products are decorative and designed for battery-powered LEDs only. No real candle, flame or hot bulb. Custom printing starts only after we confirm the proof, production price and your approval.
