These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases from Tinkerers Fable through this online store. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.

2. Products

We sell finished physical 3D-printed goods. Product pages describe the item, material, available colour or finish choices, approximate dimensions where relevant, safety information and expected production time.

FDM 3D printing creates objects layer by layer. Fine layer lines, seam marks, support-contact marks and small surface or filament-batch variations are normal characteristics of the process.

3. Licensed designs and digital files

Some products are physical prints of designs created by independent designers and manufactured by Tinkerers Fable under commercial licence. Products credited to Sektor 7 Studios are designed by Sektor 7 Studios and physically produced and sold by Tinkerers Fable under licence.

Your purchase is for the finished physical product only. No STL, 3MF, CAD or other digital design file is supplied, transferred or licensed to the customer unless a listing expressly says otherwise.

4. Ordering and contract formation

Before payment, checkout will show your selected goods, price and applicable delivery charges. Please check the order carefully and correct any errors before paying.

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order where, for example, the product cannot be manufactured safely, an obvious pricing error has occurred, materials are unavailable or delivery cannot reasonably be completed. If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot accept, the affected amount will be refunded.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in GBP unless another currency is clearly displayed. The total amount payable, including applicable delivery charges and any tax that must be separately displayed, will be shown before you confirm payment. Payment must be made using a payment method available at checkout.

6. Made-to-order production

Most products are printed after you order. Production time is separate from carrier transit time. A print may occasionally fail quality control and require reprinting. If this creates a significant delay, we will contact you.

7. Custom sizes, colours and commissions

Custom requests are assessed individually. We may recommend changes or decline a request where scaling, material choice or another alteration could compromise printability, strength, function, detail or safety.

A custom commission is not agreed until the specification, price and relevant production terms have been confirmed. Where goods are made to your personal specifications or clearly personalised, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply. We will identify this before the order is placed where relevant.

8. Delivery

9. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations page. Made-to-order status alone does not remove statutory cancellation rights for standard products.

10. Product safety and intended use

Please follow the safety information on the product listing and our Product Safety & Care page. Unless specifically stated otherwise, decorative figures and collectibles are not sold as toys. Products intended for LED tealights must only be used with suitable battery-powered LED tealights and never with a candle or naked flame.

11. Intellectual property

The Tinkerers Fable name, our original store content and Tinkerers Fable original designs are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party designs remain the property of their respective rights holders. Nothing in a physical-product purchase gives permission to copy, reproduce, distribute or sell protected digital design files.

12. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or limits your statutory rights in relation to goods.

Products must be used only for their stated or reasonably foreseeable purpose and in accordance with safety information supplied with the product or shown on the store.

13. Events outside our reasonable control

We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of a delay and will contact you where it materially affects your order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in your place of residence.
